I just had to try something different. Using textural acrylic and painting something without wings for a change...LOL



Masks are real and made from ceramics and painted. It looks special - actually much more in real.

And this is Enchanted horse (I've got too much invitation for horses again - go figure!) I used textural acrylic with sparkles - it is really looks like snow!

Thank you :) I loved the wood! It is so great to work with! Color goes much better on it and it doesn't leaves this naughtly white marks like it sometimes does on canvas. And textural acrylic is also great way to bring more depth to it - I think I'll "play" with it much more!

i used to wonder why the heck people painted on canvas. so many cool surfaces. then after a couple shows of hauling heavy crap. now only the good ones go on special surfaces.
textured, eh? i've been known to texture with old half dried house paint because i can't afford the thick paint method.
