Four?

My dad is still in a hospital.
They tried yesterday to remove the stone with no luck - stone kept moving away. So now he left with kateter in kidney to let it pass through hopefully and if not than to break it with a laser treatment.

The funny part....he has 4 kidneys...yep, I am not joking.

Two of kidneys on each side where 3 of them are working ones...we would never knew if he wouldnt make an ultrasound...

Now is the question should we consider it lucky? LOL

Wow, that's crazy that he has 4 kidneys ... did they work all 4 at one point or is one just not attached or something??

One seems to be not working one, as doctor explained may be due to some or other reason during his life, but the other 3 are working ones.

Yikes! I had kidney stones; 4 of them, the largest at 3mm (which is huge, apparently). THey almost had to get the sonic thing, but it was almost out. Horrible experience.

And 4 kidneys? Wow! Has some spares it seems. Makes up for the people who have to have transplants. :)
