Arent you getting tired from "swine flu" insanity? I am......just because they think they finally started to recognise the flu variations it doesnt make it any more special than any seasonable flu........

I definatly feel like piglet right now. I was diagnosed on Friday and I have never been sicker. The thing about this is that just when I think I am feeling better I get up and try to do something and within 15 minutes I have to sit back down. I dont seem to be getting any better. UGH. I cant even watch the news anymore because it scares me. When you have it...it is even scarier.

There's a lot of hype/freaking out over it. It's still a flu--though a virulent one and easier to spread than some. Tons of cases, very few deaths considering the number, all of them had some sort of other issue or condition weakening them at the time, so...

Yeah--I got bronchitis (bad coughing, etc) and went to the doctor and got blood drawn every time I went in for something to make sure I had the flu. x.X

Hope phoenixmedusa feels better soon; flu is miserable in any case, no matter what the variant.

That being said--they're trying to push the flu shots here--last time I got a flu vaccination, I got the flu--BAD--kept me down for around a month.

Yes, I noticed this as well, there are always a condition weakening in different cases. But I think it will work with any flu as well, we just never concentrated before so much on it, I guess if we will look at the numbers we will see it as well.

BTW when I was still in Israel flu shot was getting very popular, and thanks for this flu shot many old people died because they got horrible flu after it that their body couldnt deal with.

You know what I think is even our bigger problem? All the antiseptical stuff, we get so sterile we are not capable of fighting normal any infection anymore...where the times when we were eating non clean apples from the tree as a kid?

Not only that, but all the anti-bacterial stuff is making them get more resistant to stuff so we can't kill them so we get sicker. =x

But the non-clean apples, running around on bicycles with no helmets or padding on (and crashing) and being idiots in the playground on metal climbing gyms with exposed bolts set into concrete (and falling off them) without a single lawsuit filed. Heheh. No one takes ownership of their own actions anymore, really. :( I do something stupid, like leaping out of a swing in mid-swing, then if I get hurt it's my fault for being stupid, not the fault of the person who owns the playground or the person who made the swings :)

There's a lot of swine flu in this area. Some people are freaking out about it, the rest of us just roll our eyes and cough on them.

i agree that all the hype is crazy. Take ordinary precautions, like washing hands, cover your mouth when you sneeze and cough etc and stop worrying (which means stress, which means a depressed immune system which means a greater chance of getting sick!)

I am not sure about the Flickr thing...maybe it was the server down temporarily or something. Try it again and see what happens...if it still does it, maybe you need to contact flickr.
